The Indie 100; Complete Directory & Guide
Your film is finished. You want it in a real room, in front of people who bought a ticket. The part nobody hands you is the list of who to write to.
This is that list, and the working file behind it.
What you get.
The Indie 100 spreadsheet. All 100 venues across eight regions, in eighteen columns you can filter and sort. Screens, formats, founding year, venue type, booking fit, the booking route each venue publishes, website, programming notes, and the festival each room hosts. Filter the booking-fit column and you have your outreach queue: 72 of the 100 take first-run bookings, and 49 will rent you the room.
Programmers and points of contact. A second tab, keyed to the first by rank. The programmer's name and title where the venue publishes it, the email or booking route, the phone number, a confidence rating, and a link to the page each entry came from. Published emails for 92 of the 100. Phone numbers for 98.
The sample outreach letter. A Word file. The first email to a programmer with every decision left in brackets, the two-week follow-up under it, and a short note on what each paragraph is doing and why the third one is the one they decide on.
A four-page start-here guide comes with it: how to filter the sheet in twenty minutes, two formulas that pull the contacts onto the tab you are working in, and the four things to ask when a venue says yes.
Where it came from.
I built this for films I am producing that will need theaters next year. Every venue was checked against its own website in June 2026, and every entry carrying a status note was checked again in September. Three houses on the list are dark for renovation right now. They are marked, and they are still listed, because they are coming back.
No email in this file was guessed from a name pattern. Where a venue publishes no programmer address, the sheet says so instead of offering you something that looks plausible.
This will not get you a booking. It gets your film to the person who decides, with the right ask, in the right order. After that it is the film, the room, and the calendar.
It is public information, gathered and checked. If you have a week to spend on a hundred theater websites, you can build most of this yourself. The $9.99 is the week of work this saves you. If that seems like a lot, I put the list by itself for free on the website, you'll just have to find the Point of Contact and Policy for submission for that theatre. GET THAT RIGHT HERE FOR FREE!
We insist, if the list of names is all you need, take the free brief instead. It has all 100 venues with city, venue type, and booking fit, and it costs nothing. This kit is the part after that: the addresses, the phone numbers, and the email. This kit is for somebody who's taking their film seriously and is ready to self-distribute their film.
The fine print.
Compiled June 2026. Flagged entries rechecked September 2026, and every row carries its own date. Programmers move between seasons, so confirm any address on the venue's live site the day you send. Goldsmith Production Services has no relationship with any theater on the list and cannot introduce you to one. Licensed to one buyer for outreach on your own films.
