The Festival Report 2026-27
The complete 2026-27 festival research.
Ten files. A 142-page report carrying an entry for each of 109 festivals, its premiere rule quoted verbatim and the specific Academy award it qualifies for. The 41-page short version to read front to back before you spend anything. A filterable calendar of every deadline in the cycle. A sortable spreadsheet index of all 109. A fifty-seven box submission checklist. Five email templates for the situations where reading the rules is not enough.
Every deadline, fee and rule in it was read on a festival's own page or its live submission listing on September 5, 2026. More than a quarter of the festivals checked were displaying an expired cycle on their own submissions page, so confirm on the festival's own listing before you pay. Nothing here is a substitute for that.
Both documents come in a screen cut and a print cut. The words are identical.
It is public information, gathered and checked. If you have a week to spend on a hundred festival rulebooks, you can build most of this yourself. The $9.99 is the week.
And if the method and the calendar are all you need, take the free 41-page guide instead. It has both, and it costs nothing. This is the part after that: the entry for each of the 109, the premiere rules quoted, and the contacts.
